Summary
Our objective was to develop a strong and recognizable identity for a fashion model brand with a clear connection to its name. The client specifically wanted a tall giraffe to be reflected in the logo, leading us to create a minimal giraffe-inspired icon with an elegant silhouette. The black-and-white colour palette was selected to give the identity a sophisticated, timeless, and fashion-forward appearance. Bold typography was paired with a flowing script element to create contrast and add personality to the overall design. Along with the logo and branding, the visual direction was developed to support clear and engaging brand communication.
Challenge
The main challenge was to represent a giraffe in a way that felt stylish and relevant to the fashion industry rather than playful or cartoon-like. The logo needed to maintain the tall and distinctive character of the giraffe while keeping the design clean and minimal. It was also important to create an identity that could appeal to a fashion-conscious audience and work across different brand applications. Using only black and white required the visual elements to carry enough personality without depending on colour. The final design needed to balance uniqueness, elegance, and strong brand recognition.
Solutions
We developed a simplified giraffe silhouette that highlights the animal's distinctive height and graceful form. Strong serif typography was used to add confidence and structure, while the script style introduces a softer and more expressive touch.
