Byologist
Health & Wellness
Logo & Branding
For Byologist, the goal was to create a visual identity that felt modern, approachable, and connected to everyday wellbeing. The branding needed to communicate care and vitality while remaining distinctive in the competitive health and wellness space.
Summary
Byologist is a health and wellness brand focused on everyday nutritional support through products such as daily multivitamins and protein supplements. The project focused on developing a memorable wordmark logo design supported by brand collateral that could build a consistent visual presence. The identity needed to feel trustworthy without appearing overly clinical or pharmaceutical. A clean typographic approach helped keep the brand contemporary and versatile across different applications. The resulting identity creates a recognisable foundation for Byologist's wellness-focused product range.
Challenge
The key challenge was finding the right balance between health, nutrition, trust, and warmth within a simple wordmark. A conventional healthcare visual identity could make the brand feel too clinical, while an overly playful approach could reduce its sense of credibility. The client also wanted a heart theme incorporated into the logo without making the symbol feel forced or disconnected from the brand name. The identity therefore needed to remain clean and legible while carrying a meaningful emotional element. It also had to work effectively across different brand collateral and product applications.
Solutions
We developed a distinctive wordmark logo for Byologist, integrating a heart-inspired element directly into the typography to represent care, wellbeing, and a people-first approach to health. Rather than relying on a separate medical symbol, the heart was made part of the brand's visual language, giving the identity a more ownable character. The warm colour combination adds energy and approachability while maintaining a sense of trust. The typography keeps the logo clear and adaptable for both digital and physical applications. Supporting brand collateral design was developed around the same visual direction to create a consistent and recognisable brand identity.
